X Read Spot Check

We have added this functionality where during the day you can run an X Read and using the Spot Check tab, you can enter in your cash takings to get a balance at that point in time.

How to To perform a Spot Check of your cash takings

• sign into the till using your pin.

• Select the 'X Read' button as displayed below

• The below screen will then be displayed for a few seconds while generating the X Read

• On the right hand side you will see a tab called 'Spot Check'. Select this
  • When selecting Spot Check, the cash drawer will now open automatically to make it easier to count the cash in your till.

• This section shows the current cash balance minus any cash lifts. Pressing the entry field will bring up the keypad, where you can enter the manual cash count.

• Enter in your actual takings into the 'Counted' box

• It will then work out the difference between your expected, your actual takings and the difference

• You can print this by pressing the Print button, or cancel to close out of this screen
