- Remove printer from packaging
- Load Drug Label roll into printer
- Connect power and USB lead to PC
- Turn on Printer
- When LED turns Green, press Feed button to align roll
- Allow windows to detect the Printer
- If Windows doesn't install the driver, manually download the following driver Printer Driver
- Run the "DriverWizard.exe" file and follow the on-screen instructions to Install the Drivers.
Printer configuration
- Enter Printer Properties (screenshot below)
- Click on ‘Advanced’ tab
- Click on ‘Printing Defaults’
- Printing Default screen will appear
- On the Page Setup tab, Stock, Click ‘New’
Stock name, “Drug Label”
- Label Size;
- Width: 69.00 mm
- Height: 36.00 mm (single)
- Height: 50.00 mm (double)
- Exposed Liner Width; Left: 0.00 mm Right: 0.00 mm
- Label Size;
- Go to 'Stock' tab
- Set 'Sensor Type' as 'Transmissive'
- Set Label Gap to '4.00mm'
- Click ‘Ok’
N.B. if labels do not feed correctly with these settings after restarting the printer, change the Sensor Type to 'Reflective'
Set Orientation:
- Set ‘Portrait’ for label printing upright to user (able to read print as label leave printer)
- Set ‘Portrait 180’ for label printing upside down to user (text prints upside down to user)
- Click Ok to close ‘Advanced’ tab
Printing Preferences
- Click on ‘General’ tab
- Click on ‘Printing Preferences’
- Set Stock Name (select the Drug Label config you just created)
- Set Orientation (as per selection used in the previous step)
- Click ‘Ok’
- Click ‘Ok’
