• Open Touchstore Rx

• Select Modules -> Product Maintenance

• Enter in you PIN number

• Select New from the blue bar

• The "New Product" screen will then be displayed

• If your product has a barcode, enter the barcode number into the "Barcode" field

• If your product does not have a barcode, click Generate Inhouse Barcode located at the bottom of the new product screen

• Fill out the following:

Product Info Section

• Product Name
• Pack Size
• Display Name - This will automatically fill out with the product name when selected
• Preferred Supplier
• Stock Category (Optional)

Pricing Section

• Cost Price
• VAT Type
• Retail Price (The price it will be dispensed at)
• Qty on Hand

Dispense Info Section

• IPU Barcode (If you have this)
• IPU Cost Price

• Click OK to save your product

• The "New Product" screen will then go blank, click the Cancel button located at the bottom of the screen

• A similar screen to that displayed below will appear with the product you just created

• Select the Dispense Info tab to add in a GMS number if required
  • Tick GMS Allowed

• If it is a High Tech product, tick HT Allowed
