How to Create a Product

Sign into the Rx 365 Back Office

Using the product search bar you can key in the barcode number as displayed below

Once you have the barcode typed in, press the Enter button on your keyboard

The below message will then be displayed - Select 'Yes, Let's create one!'
- The following screen will then be displayed where you will need to fill out the products information - see below example
- Once your information has been entered, click the Create button
- If a required field is not filled out, it will be highlighted in red and you will not be able to create the product until it's filled out
- Once your product has been created, you will be product to the product where you can fill out further information if required. i.e. GMS Number
How To Create a Product Using an In-House Barcode
- Select Not on File from the Back Office home page
- The below screen is then displayed
- This screen is broken into two sections
Top Section
- This section will display products that the system has detected but do not yet exist on your product file. If this is the case, a list of products will be displayed and you will have a create button available beside each product. If there are none, you will see the below message.

To create a product with an in-house barcode, click the
button

The below screen will then be displayed. You will need to fill out the product's details here as explained in the above 'How to Create a Product'
Bottom Section

This section allows you to search for products on the the IPU catalogue that do not exist on your product file but may be on the IPU File. Use the filters to select products in this catalogue to import into your product file.

You can search for your product using various filters:
- IPU Code
- Product Name
- GMS Number
- Manufacturer Name
- Strength
- Pack Size
- Generic Name
- Authorisation

When you have filled out one or more of the above, click search

If the product is available on the IPU file, you will have the option to Import the product

If it can't be found, the following message will be displayed temporarily
