- Search for the patient you need to set up an EU Scheme for using the patient search
- Before dispensing any scripts go to the Edit(F3)

Select the EU Scheme from the dropdown and enter in the 20-digit EU Card Number
- The EHIC is compulsory for every patient except UK patients.

Select a country for the patient using the country dropdown
- To insert a new country, double click the country dropdown and click ** insert on the below screen

When putting through a dispense for an EU patient, insert the item and then select the EU Scheme tab

Enter in the EHIC Number - use the ellipsis button to copy the EHIC number

Enter in the Serial Number - This is located on the patients EU Card

Complete your script as normal
