Please note, you must have the Touchstore Android Handheld to use this feature.

WHEN USING THE SCRIPT LOCATOR FUNCTION, YOU MUST BE SIGNED IN USING YOUR RX365 BACK OFFCIE LOGINS.

• The Script Locator allows you to allocate the exact location where you have put the bag(s) containing the patient's items, via the Android Handheld unit.

Assigning a Bag to a Location

• When you finish the patients script in RX, you will bring up the Script Locator tab on the Android Handheld and scan the bag label barcode.

• The handheld app will then load the information of the bag
  • The 'Patient Name' is displayed at the top of the screen.
  • 'Started By' shows who dispensed the script.
  • 'My Notes' will display any notes assigned to the patient.

• To assign a bag click the Add Location button

• A list of all your Stock Locations you have created in your Back Office will then appear

• Select the location from the list, or scan the barcode of the location if you have this set up.

• As you assign each bag(s) to a location, they will appear in the 'Assigned Locations' section

  • In the below you example, you can see on the right hand side, the bag for SANDEEP has been assigned to two locations, R01B1 & AAABAAS01

Sending SMS

• It is now possible to forward-date SMS reminders for scripts through Script Locator. This can be handy when creating scripts in advance for patients. You can use the "SMS Options" section on the Script Locator screen to send the SMS.

• You can choose a different template to be used, if desired and you can select when the SMS should be sent (Immediately or choose a date)

Note: Leaving all fields blank will cause the default template to be used and the SMS to be sent immediately.

• If an SMS has already been sent to this patient for this script, a message will be displayed on screen.

Note: If you are forward-dating an SMS, the SMS will be sent at 10am on the date you have selected.

• Click Send SMS to send the message

POS Screen - Patient Collecting Script

• When the patient arrives to collect the script, you will load up the patient's file using the 'Patients' button

• The 'MyDay' screen will then appear as displayed below. Start by typing in a portion of the patients name

• The patients PMR will then appear, and from here the till user can see the location(s) that this patient's bag(s) is in under 'Outstanding Scripts'.

• The user will then retrieve the bag(s) and scan them at the till.
  • Please note, for bags that have been split into more than one location, the barcode will only need to be scanned once.

Marking a bag as Collected/Picked

• The first way of marking a bag as COLLECTED is by adding it to a location & when the patient arrives, scan the bag label and it will then be automatically marked as collected.

Using the Handheld allows you to confirm that all locations have been PICKED. To do this:

• Go to the location in the dispensary, scan the bag label & then scan the location to confirm, or click Pick Location & select it from the list to confirm you have picked the bag from this location.

• That assigned location will then be highlighted in GREEN. From the below example you can see location AAABAAS01 has been picked but still need to go to AAABAAS01 location to get the second part of this bag and mark it as picked.

• You can then mark it as collected by using the 'Mark as Collected' button on the handheld, OR scan the bag label at the till to mark it as collected automatically.

• The script will then display as Collected in the back office, in the History section of Script Uploads
