This report shows the total gross sales, VAT, and profit margin for each product in the selected date range, suppliers, category, and store(s).

The profit margin by value and percentage) is calculated from the average cost at the time of each sale. The products are sorted by level 1 category (or departments) and are listed under the category to which they are assigned. The values for each category are totalled. The report can be filtered by applying ranges to each of the columns.

To run this report:

• Go to Reports in the Back office

• Navigate to Daily reports

• Select the report Todays Product Sales & Profitability

• Various fields can be used to filter the report depending on the information needed. Now press Run report. A report like this will generate.
