Preparing the printer

Don't connect the printer until you're instructed to do so

1. Pull Upright & push firmly

2. Attach the metal page guides

3. Make sure all the protective material has been removed

4. Remove the paper tension unit

5. Pull the lever forward

6. Confirm the print head is in the middle but Do not touch the white cable inside the printer

7. Tense the Ribbon

8. Insert the Ribbon unit

9. Insert the ribbon between the print head & carriage. Tense the Ribbon after installation

10. Attach the paper tension unit

11. Close the lid

12. Connect the USB cable & power cable on the underside of the printer
