Before dispensing under the Methadone scheme, you must ensure that the Prescriber has a statutory Medical Council Number as this is required for all prescribers under the methadone scheme.

How to Add a Statutory Medical Council Number to a Prescriber

• Sign into Touchstore Rx

• Select Modules -> Configuration

• Enter in your PIN number

• Select the Professional tab

• Search for and select the prescriber and press the edit button

• Enter in the statutory number - see highlighted below

• Press Ok

• You can now start dispensing under the Methadone scheme for this prescriber
