This article will advise on how to mark and item as not dispensed on a script.

Go to the patient file and press new script. This will bring you in the edit script screen.

Select the drug that you wish to mark as not dispensed. tick the not dispensed tick box. Another box will now appear.

You will need to enter your pin number and the reason for marking the item as not dispensed. You can pick a reason from the reasons in the dropdown.

Press okay and complete the script when finished. The Not dispensed item will appear in a highlighted red color.

If you wish to dispense the item at any stage. Highlight the item and press repeat and complete. It will now appear as in screenshot below.

NOTE: To add a different reason to the list of Not dispensed reasons, double click on the reason dropdown. A pop up window will appear. To add a reason press insert and enter text. press okay to save. It will now appear on the list. Press close.
