How to Create a Product
- To create a product on Retail 365 we can search/scan the barcode of the new product in the 365 main screen.
- If the system does not recognise the barcode the dialog box displayed below will appear, allowing you to begin setting up the product
- Click Yes, let’s create one! and you will be brought to the Create a New Product screen, displayed below

From the top selection bar, 'Standard Product' is selected by default. If you wish to create either a 'Not For resale' product or a 'Service / Open Key' (Non Scan), then select one of these options first before filling out the product info.

Please note that there is a Touchstore Master Product File which may contain your product. If it does contain your product, it will display the following message:

If you would like to import the product information press Yes, import the details. You can edit any details after the import. If you would like to insert all product information press No thanks

If it does not display your product, you will need to fill out the product details
- Any fields that are required that have not been filled out will be highlighted in RED.

Click the Create button

Once the product has been created you will be brought to the Product Maintenance screen which allows you to configure your product in more detail. (We can access this Product Maintenance screen at any time by searching the product name in the main screen)

How To Create a Product Using an In-House Barcode
This section is used to create a product on Retail 365 that has no barcode on it. To do this go to:
- Select the Not On File on the Back Office Homepage

The below page will then be displayed to you

If you would like to create this product as a Non Scan, select 'Service / Open Key first, from the top selection bar

Fill out the product details and click
