What is Script Queue?
The Script Queue allows you to locate patients on the EPoS system, tab through the drugs required today, and add those drugs to a queueing system which is visible within RX 365.
From the dispensary, the script can be assigned to a staff member, and when the script is started, the patient's PMR is automatically loaded with the tabbed drugs pre-highlighted.
The progress of the script is visible from the EPoS system at all times and once the script is completed and the bag is scanned through the EPoS system, it is automatically marked as "Collected" in the Script Queue
Script Locator
Once you've prepared the script the patient requested, you can make use of Script Locator, via the TouchStore Handheld unit, to note the exact location where you have put the bag(s) containing the patient's items. When the patient arrives at the pharmacy to collect their items, you can pull up the Script Locator and find any and all items that need to be collected.
To enable the Script Queue, you must have the following:
- RX 365 v2023.1 or higher
- XPoS v2023.1 or higher
